Cameron School of Dance’s “Summer Sizzle Dance Camp”

This is a great way to spend a week of the summer-dancing, learning, making new friends, seeing old friends again and having a great time!  This summer the Cameron School of Dance is offering an intensive Dance Camp for two age groups of girls:

• Jiving Juniors    6-8 year olds      July 4-8^th 2011 -  sample schedule 
• Dancing Divas   9-12 year olds     July 11-15^th 2011 -  sample schedule 

Campers will explore different styles of dance as well as other performance related skills.  The camp teaches a full week of Hip-Hop, Jazz Dance, Musical Theatre, Voice, Theatre make-up, Drama, yoga, Stretch and Stomp basics.  The mornings will be dedicated to “Broadway” and the performing arts and the afternoon to “New Age”, street style dancing.  No dance experience is necessary.  Campers will be taught in English.

Any young girl aged between 6 and 12 years old.  No previous dance experience is required.

What campers should wear?

Comfy, non-restrictive clothing (preferably dance clothing).  They must take note that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are theme dress up days at the camp.

What campers will need to bring with them:

• daily bag lunch
• 2 healthy snacks
• a closable water bottle
• a towel (to be used for Yoga and Stretching as well as to wipe their sweat away)

Camp fees:

The weekly fee for the camp is 170$ tax included except early registration the cost is $165.00 tax incl. Bring a friend and receive another $15.00 reduction.

Extended Child care services:

Extended child care will be offered if at least five campers are registered for it.  Any dancer who needs to arrive earlier than 08h50, and who cannot be picked up at 16h30 sharp, can register for extended child care.  The fee is a weekly fee and is due whether a) you need it for only 15 minutes b) only one day of that week or c) all hours all five days.

Extended Child care is 20$ per week for the morning hours (07h30-09h00)

Extended Child care is 15$ per week for the afternoon hours (16h30-17h30)

How to register:

Dancers currently enrolled in the school for the Winter Session (or their friends) will be entitled to early registration.   Full registration fees are due upon registration.  Payment Methods are 1) cash 2) certified check or 3) Money order  DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM HERE 

Early registration:  $165.00 per week tax incl.

Begins the week of  Feb. 18^th and ends March 13^th, 2011.  Cameron Dancers may pick up  registration packages from the school and hand in registration any time during those weeks.

Regular Registration $170.00 per week tax incl.:

Thursday March 24^th from  5:00-7:00 pm at the Cameron School of Dance

***Limit of 25 dancers per week.  First come first served basis. Please remember,  camp may fill up during early registration.
